Who Am I?

I've been a grassroots activist in Denton County for several years, serving as chair of multiple committees of the Denton County Democratic Party.

A founding member and past President of Stonewall Democrats of Denton County. Member of Denton County Young Democrats and was one of the first male members of Democratic Women of Denton County.

I've served as precinct chair in both Dallas and Little Elm and was chair of the Precinct Development Committee, Candidate Recruitment Committee, and currently chair the Advisory Council of the Denton County Democratic Party.

I served as the delegation chair for SD-9 in 2006 and SD-12 in 2010 for Denton County at the Texas State Democratic Convention. I was Denton County’s Nominations Chair in 2006 and Resolutions Chair in 2010 at the Denton County Democratic Convention. I am a sustaining member of the Denton County Democratic Party, and a Young Professionals Council sustaining member of the Texas Democratic Party.

In 2008, I was the Democratic party’s nominee for Texas House of Representatives from House District 64 and DFA endorsed in that race.

I live in Paloma Creek outside Little Elm with my husband Jimmy and our dog, Cooper.

I hope to Build a Better Democratic Party in Denton County. Our Party needs to build a strong Farm Team of potential candidates and get them the training they need to be successful. Our Party needs to support our precinct chairs with the training they need to make essential voter contact. Our Party needs to build its bank account, so we can do what is needed to run field campaigns against Republicans. Our Party needs to build a strong message, so voters know why they should vote for Democrats. Our Party needs to reach every corner of the county to build a majority.

To win the election, we will need to block walk and make phone calls to Democratic Primary voters. Grassroots volunteers will fuel the campaign.
